An optional source
Your reading, in perspective.
Your assessment works on its own. Chrome and YouTube are optional clues you can add or remove independently.
- Add the OffFeed extension to desktop Chrome. It opens its own setup page; you do not need another account.
- Choose “Analyze my last 30 days”. Approve Chrome’s history prompt. Titles from supported public news and information sites are classified on your device. You can exclude a publisher in the local preview.
- Review, then save to OffFeed. Check the account shown before saving. Only topic counts, the date range, sample sizes and coverage flags reach OffFeed. Your combined map and future report selection then use that snapshot.
You stay in control
No raw URLs, titles, search queries or publisher list are uploaded. No AI provider receives your browsing records. The extension does not read page contents, cookies, passwords or messages, and it has no background history listener. It removes history permission after each analysis.
Chrome’s history permission also permits history changes; this extension only queries it. Closing Chrome during analysis can interrupt cleanup; access is removed again at the next browser startup. You can also revoke permission or uninstall the extension in Chrome.
This is a keyword estimate from supported publishers, not your complete browsing history, time spent reading, agreement with an article, or a psychological profile. Unsupported pages are skipped. Busy days are capped and a partial sample is labeled. At least five classified pages are needed.
Saved counts remain until you replace them, disconnect Chrome or delete your OffFeed account. Disconnecting deletes the saved snapshot and recalculates your map from remaining sources. Existing reports remain in your history. Each refresh requires a new action; nothing syncs automatically.
The extension is in private beta. Public installation opens after Chrome Web Store approval.
