For AI agents and developers

Use OffFeed in a conversation.

An AI assistant can ask the same ten questions as the website and calculate an anonymous topic map. The person supplies every answer. This public capability is free while the richer, source-backed report and payment flow are being developed.

When to use OffFeed

Use it when someone wants a quick estimate of which broad subjects they choose to read or watch, or wants to explore topics they may encounter less often. Ask for their answers before calling the tool. Cite the methodology when interpreting the result.

Do not use it to diagnose political beliefs, intelligence, identity, or the content of a person’s actual feed. The public interface cannot access X follows, YouTube subscriptions, private maps, or weekly digests.

Connect an AI agent

Use the Streamable HTTP MCP server at https://offfeed.fyi/mcp. It offers get_assessment_questions and estimate_topic_exposure. Both tools are read-only and require no account. The assistant should ask all ten questions, then pass the selected indices in order.

Use the JSON API

Read the questions with GET https://offfeed.fyi/api/public/assessment. Submit answers with POST https://offfeed.fyi/api/public/assessment and a JSON body containing ten arrays of choice indices. Question numbering starts at one; choice indices start at zero. Some questions allow two choices, while “Other / none of these” must stand alone.

When answers provide topic evidence, the response includes twenty normalized model shares, a descriptive 0–100 diversity number, limitations, and a methodology link. If every answer is neutral, shares are empty and the diversity number is null. The API does not create an account or save an assessment profile. See the OpenAPI 3.1 description for the machine-readable contract.

Discover the service

The OffFeed service description lists available endpoints, price and permissions. This project-specific description supplements the OpenAPI contract; it is not a standard agent registry or a guarantee of search visibility.

Payments and private data

No paid agent endpoint is live yet. A future source-backed report will require a clearly displayed price, user-approved checkout, a confirmed payment, and explicit permission for any connected account data. Agents cannot authorize an X or YouTube connection on a person’s behalf through this public server.
